Somehow it so happened that it is customary for us to cook soups mostly from dried peas. This dish is familiar to everyone since childhood and even got the name "musical" because of its specific properties. And it is simply impossible to spoil it.
Soup with canned green peas
To prepare this dish you will need:
- a jar of brain peas;
- canned fish – sauryor pink salmon;
- bunch of greenery;
- bell pepper - 1 pc.;
- onion - 1 pc.;
- potatoes - 2 pcs.;
- carrot - 1 pc.;
- spices.
Wash and clean vegetables. If you are allergic to boiled onions and carrots, then you can not cut them, but put them whole in the pan. We need them for smell and taste, and to achieve this result, there is no need to cut them at all. You don’t even need to peel the onion - wash it thoroughly, cut off the remnants of the roots and send it to a pot of boiling water. Its peel will give the broth a beautiful amber hue. And at the end of cooking, you just fish out the boiled carrots and onions from the pan and throw them out of harm's way.
Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes and also send to boil. If you cut the carrots and plan to use them in the finished soup, you can throw in all the vegetables at the same time; otherwise, take a short (10-15 minutes) pause between onions, carrots and potatoes.
In the meantime, the vegetables are cooking, cut the greens and peppers and open the cans of canned food. We bring the potatoes to half-cookedness, if necessary, we catch onions and carrots from the broth and send fish and peas into it. You can not drain the liquid from the peas - it will only add flavor and taste to the finished dish. With it, soup with canned green peas will become even richer. Bring to a boil and add greens with pepper to the broth. S alt, add a little pepper and bay leaf. Bring to a boil again and turn off the stove. Everything is soup with greencanned peas ready. It can be eaten both hot and cold, as canned food is most often consumed chilled. So you can consider this dish a kind of okroshka.

You will need meat or chicken broth, a jar of peas, leeks, butter and spices.
Sliced onion rings fry in butter. You can do it right in the pot. As soon as the onion acquires a pleasant golden color, add half the peas and the broth. Keep on the stove for about 15 minutes and remove from heat. Now you need to strain the broth and beat the peas with onions in a mixer. If there are problems with the presence of a mixer or blender, then use the old grandmother's method of making mashed potatoes - a crush.
Recombine all the ingredients, pour the remaining peas into the pan, put a tablespoon of sour cream, s alt, pepper and send to the stove. If you expect to eat the whole soup with canned green peas at once, then you do not need to boil it - just heat it up.
