However, the progenitor of marshmallows on gelatin was marshmallow. And even though gelatin in its pure form was not used in those distant times to create sweetness, this does not change anything.

  • one egg white;
  • pack of gelatin - 25 grams;
  • hot water - 80 milliliters;
  • food color - optional.

Step one. Wash all apples and free them from seed pods and stalks. Divide the fruit into four to six slices. Lay on baking paper. Bake in preheated oven for fifteen minutes. The oven temperature is 180 degrees. As soon as the apples are baked, take them out and let them cool.

Step two. At this time, prepare the gelatin. Pour the contents of the package with the entire norm of hot water. Let's give it time to swell. We will mix to get the dissolved gelatin.

Third step. We return to apples. We take off the skin. We rub the pulp through a sieve to get applesauce. Any suitable method may be used. The main thing is that at the end you have 200 grams of the finished product from apples.

The fifth step. At the end of the process, we introduce gelatin into the marshmallow mass and continue to beat for about three minutes - until stable peaks of the composition and its complete cooling.

It will be more convenient to use the largest bag for jigging (or fill two such bags at once). Whatever way you form marshmallows - you need to do it faster.
