Many modern restaurants serve this dish in the form of canapes with mozzarella and cherry tomatoes. As a result, the familiar dish takes on a new life.

Easy cooking recipe

In fact, everything is very simple and unpretentious. If you need to prepare canape with mozzarella and cherry tomatoes for a small banquet with eight people, then you need to take 400 g of cheese and 600 g of tomato.

How to make sauce

Grind all these products in a blender until a homogeneous consistency, the mass should be thick, green. If desired, you can add a few cloves of garlic, it will give the sauce a pleasant smell and a sharper taste. But how relevant garlic is for the banquet performance of the dish is up to you.

You can also make a more advanced version of basil sauce. In addition to the ingredients that are prescribed in the recipe above, grated parmesan must also be added. But in this case, the consistency will be too thick, so you will have to add about 50-70 ml of olive oil.

If you do not have the time and desire to prepare such a sauce, you can simply use olive oil and decorate the dish with basil leaves. Serving
