Marble cake is one of the favorite treats not only for children, but also for adults. It is noteworthy that such a dessert can be made dietary, with gelatin, and even without baking at all.

Classic marble cake

For baking a biscuit you will need:

  • 6 eggs;
  • 200 grams of powdered sugar;
  • 230g sifted wheat flour.

Biscuit cake dough is very easy to prepare. Eggs are beaten with powdered sugar. At the same time, stir continuously for 8 minutes. Then flour is added to the mixture. The baking dish is greased with butter. Parchment is laid on top and smeared again. The dough is poured into the mold and baked in the oven (preheated to 180 degrees) for 25 minutes.

Cream for the cake can be made by anyone. The most commonly used cream. It will require:

  • 4 tbsp cream (high fat can be used);
  • 150g white chocolate;
  • two hundred grams of butter;
  • 80 g powdered sugar.

First, chocolate is melted in a water bath. Cream is added to it and heated a little along with chocolate. Then everything is mixed and cooled. Then 15 minutes the powdered sugar is whippedwith butter.

The result is two separate masses. Chocolate begins to be added to the oil one spoon at a time. Each is followed by mixing. After 5 tablespoons, the entire remainder of the chocolate mass is added. The cream is thoroughly mixed.

Impregnation

So that the marble cake does not turn out to be dryish, impregnation is added. It is made from tea, lemon juice and sugar. If the cake is prepared only for adults, then you can add a little alcohol. For impregnation, 1 tea bag is poured with 100 ml of boiling water. It adds 2 tbsp. l. sugar and 1 tbsp. l. fresh juice squeezed from a lemon. Then the cakes are thoroughly soaked.

Decoration

For decoration in a water bath, three types of chocolate are dissolved: white, brown and black. They are mixed and while they cool down a little, a cake is formed. If one and thick cake is baked, it is cut in half. Both sections are filled with impregnation and smeared with cream. Then the cakes are connected. Top and sides of the cake is smeared with cream. The sides are decorated with whole (or large pieces) nuts. And the chocolate mixture is poured on top of the cream.

Gluten Marble Cake

Marble cake (Dukan's recipe) can also be made on gluten (gluten). The cake is fluffy and biscuit-like. Ingredients:

  • two eggs;
  • 3 tbsp. l. plain low-fat yogurt;
  • 2 tbsp. l. bulk sugar substitute;
  • 4 tbsp. l. crushed bran;
  • a little over 1 tbsp. l. corn starch;
  • 2 tbsp. l.gluten free;
  • two thirds tsp soda;
  • 2 tsp plain cocoa powder.

For the cream, you will need low-fat cottage cheese and a sugar substitute. Cooking cakes: all the ingredients from the list (except cocoa) are well mixed until smooth. It is divided into two equal parts. One of them is filled with cocoa powder. The form for the cake is covered with oiled parchment paper, on which the dough is alternately poured from the containers. The result is a marble pattern.

The form is sent to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees. The marble cake is baked for no more than half an hour. Readiness is checked with a knife or toothpick. If the dough does not stick to them, then the cake can be taken out. The crust is cut in half. Both parts are richly saturated with cream. For its preparation, cottage cheese and sweetener are simply whipped. The cake should be chilled for an hour, then sprinkled with fat-free cocoa on top.

Dessert without baking

Marble cake with gelatin can be made without baking. For this you will need:

  • 500g low-fat cottage cheese;
  • 500 g sour cream (15 percent);
  • 40g gelatin;
  • 100 ml milk;
  • 3 tbsp. l. cocoa;
  • a glass of sugar sand;
  • 2 tsp regular instant coffee.

Dough for the cake is made without adding flour. Cottage cheese is mixed with sour cream and granulated sugar. The resulting mixture is whipped in a blender. Gelatin is briefly soaked in cold water, during which time the milk is heated. It is added to itswollen gelatinous mass. The mixture is stirred and heated over low heat until the gelatin is completely dissolved. It is impossible to bring the mass to a boil.

Then the gelatin mixture is added to the curd mass and mixed well. It is divided into three parts. Cocoa powder is added to the first, coffee slightly diluted with water to the second, vanillin to the third. The cake mold is covered with cling film, on which the mixture is alternately laid out with tablespoons. Can be done in layers or randomly. The marble cake is placed in the refrigerator for five hours until the gelatin is completely solidified. Then it is taken out and turned over onto a dish. The cling film is removed.

Cooking secrets

If you don't like cocoa, you can use regular food coloring. When lemon is added to baking, the taste of the cake is more balanced and not cloyingly sweet. Instead of butter cream, cottage cheese and sour cream is often used. These components are very quickly absorbed by the body and contain the necessary phosphorus, calcium and iron. In addition, cottage cheese improves eyesight and is useful during the growth of the body.
