Festive salads should not only be tasty and made from gourmet products. Their purpose is to delight the eyes of guests. As the name implies, these snacks are stacked in layers. In order for eaters to appreciate their beautiful appearance, salads are usually placed in layers in a transparent dish. Put them on plates, cutting vertically with a spoon, like a cake. The most famous Russian layered salad is, of course, Shuba. But here we will give more original recipes.

Obsession

An alternative to the usual "Shuba" can serve as other salads in layers with the presence of herring. In "Obsession" each layer is prepared in a separate bowl, and then collected in an elegant dish. Bottom layer: peel 3-4 potatoes boiled in their uniforms, grind on a grater, s alt, knead with mayonnaise. Three beets, mix with finely chopped garlic (1-2 cloves). After s alting, knead with mayonnaise. The next layer is herring. Her fillet is simply cut into thin pieces. Sprinkle onion rings on top. The top layer is grated carrots mixed with 100 ggrated cheese and mayonnaise. After the "assembly" let's decorate the salad with fresh herbs.

Salads in layers are often made with crab sticks. This ingredient, thanks to its pink color, decorates the dish and gives it a spice. A 200-gram pack of crab sticks should be thoroughly cooled, and then grated with large chips. The bottom layer in this appetizer is a boiled hard-boiled egg. All components must be ground on a grater. The second layer is a quarter of the number of sticks. Coat this layer with mayonnaise. Then comes 100 g of hard cheese. Top - 25 g of butter pulled out of the freezer. Next comes the highlight of the salad - half a glass of steamed prunes, in which walnuts are inserted instead of seeds. Then again crab sticks, mayonnaise, cheese, butter and another egg. Such salads are often decorated in layers not with greens, but with nuts, prunes and sprinkled with grated cheese. Or you can just limit yourself to a mayonnaise net.

Horseshoe

This chicken layered salad is perfect for the upcoming Year of the Blue Horse. Finely chop the red onion. Boiled or baked chicken breast cut into cubes. Hard boil four eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. On a flat dish we set the shape in the form of a horseshoe. We then remove it. Such a horseshoe can be prepared independently from cardboard. Three squirrels inside the form. Cover with mayonnaise. We put the chicken fillet, then onions, Korean carrots, egg yolk, grated hard cheese. Lubricate each layer with mayonnaise. Place in refrigerator for an hourimpregnation.

This salad with mushroom layers is similar to Olivier. But instead of green peas, we use walnuts. And pickled cucumbers in this appetizer are replaced by pickled champignons. In addition, we include 100 g of grated cheese in the salad. And, of course, unlike the mixed "Olivier", in the "Wonderful" all the components are laid in layers. They go in this order: half of the amount of carrots, cheese, eggs, potatoes, all chicken, mushrooms, walnuts, the rest of the potatoes, eggs, cheese, carrots. Apply mayonnaise between potatoes and meat, as well as among eggs and cheese.
