How to cook compote
First, you need to deal with the pumpkin. It is peeled, seeds removed and cut into small portioned cubes. Pour water into a small saucepan, put pumpkin cubes there and pour sugar. In syrup, the pumpkin should be simmered for about 25 minutes. Remove the zest from the oranges, squeeze the juice from one. Mix it with chopped zest and a couple of tablespoons of sugar. We send the remaining pieces of oranges to the pumpkin, cook for 5 minutes.
At the final stage, add orange juice with pumpkin to the drink and boil for another three minutes. Grind compote with a blender. Pour the drink into prepared glass jars. Roll up with metal lids.
