- Dried aveluk – 100g
- 1 Large Onion Head
- Walnuts (can be replaced with hazelnuts) - 100 g.
- Vegetable oil - 1.5 tbsp. l.
- S alt and pepper to taste.
First, rinse the aveluk under running water and set to boil, pre-s alting the water. Then place on paper towels to drain the water. Meanwhile, cut the onion into small cubes and fry until translucent. Then add aveluk to the same pan. Continue frying everything together for about 9 minutes.
Walnuts must be peeled, soaked in cold water and remove the excess film. Now finely chop and add to the same pan where the aveluk is located. All together further fry for three minutes. Stir all the time so that the aveluk, onion and nuts do not burn. Now put in a salad bowl, cool. Armenian salad with aveluk and walnuts is ready. Now you can safely serve it to the table.
Chicken Salad
This Armenian dish is loved by many for its wonderful combination of ingredients. For cooking you will need:
- Chicken fillet - 1 pc.
- Champignons - 1 cup.
- Canned pineapple – 200 gr.
- 2 small onions
- Sugar - 30 gr.
- Vinegar and mayonnaise to taste.
To prepare an Armenian salad, first boil the breast, cut the champignons into cubes, and cut the onion into half rings. Dilute vinegar with water (1:1), add sugar and put onions in the same container. While it marinates, fry the mushrooms.
In a salad bowl we cut the cooled breast, mushrooms, pineapples. Mix everything thoroughly, put the squeezed pickled onion into the same container. Now add mayonnaise to taste and mix gently. The salad is ready to eat.
Vegetable salad with wheat groats
Bulgur is a wheat groat that not only has beneficial properties, but is also nutritious and tasty. Boil it in a bag and add vegetable oil to make the porridge crumbly. Approximately 200g per serving
Add tomatoes to the cerealand cucumbers 50 g each, chopped mint, about 2 tsp. (maybe more), hot pepper - 10 g, a small bunch of green onions, a little cilantro, 5 g lemon juice, s alt, pepper and pour olive oil (10 grams).
Armenian salad with bulgur gently mix, make an original and beautiful decoration. Now you can serve. This dish is eaten cold.
Armenian classic vegetable salad
To prepare this dish you will need products:
- Large eggplant - 1 pc.
- Tomatoes - 150g
- Sweet pepper - 100g
- Garlic - 2-3 pieces
- Sunflower oil - 30 g.
- Vinegar - 5g
- S alt, pepper, herbs and other spices to taste.
Before preparing the salad, bake the eggplant in advance, cool, peel and cut into small cubes. Rub the garlic on a fine grater and put in a salad bowl with eggplant. Cut tomatoes and peppers into small strips. Add them to eggplant and garlic.
Now make the sauce: mix oil with vinegar, add finely chopped cilantro, s alt and pepper to taste. Pour this dressing over the salad and stir. Before serving, it should be infused for at least an hour. Then you can serve the finished Armenian salad to the table. It turned out not only tasty, but also nutritious.
