Step 1. Cooking batter
To do this, you need a fairly deep bowl in which you need to beat eggs, half a teaspoon of sunflower oil and flour. We add the last ingredient gradually in order to prevent the formation of lumps. The mixture must be mixed well so that it resembles liquid sour cream. The batter is cooked in the first place because it must stand in the refrigerator for a while before frying.
Step 2. Cut the onion
After we peel the onion and rinse it under water, we start cutting the heads. The rings should be about 0.6-0.8 mm wide. To make it more convenient to cut the heads, remove one barrel from the onion, put it on the flat side, and then it does not slip out of your hands, and the circles are even. Then we separate all the rings and sprinkle with a little s alt. It is recommended that you first remove the thin skin from the inside of the chopped onion and pour it with a tablespoon of vinegar and boiling water, otherwise the batter may subsequently fall off.
Step 3. Start frying
Heat the pan and pour sunflower oil into it to a level of about one centimeter. Rings, before dipping in batter, must be dipped in flour, then the mixture will not drain from the onion. We put the mugs on the pan so that they literally float in oil.
In order for onions fried in batter not toburnt, the pan should be well heated. During cooking, the fire must be reduced to a minimum. Do not download many rings at once, limit yourself to two or three. But the result will be incredibly appetizing: the onion in batter will acquire a golden hue and crunch in your mouth.
Step 4. Serve the dish to the table
In order not to spoil the taste with excess fat, put the onion rings from the pan on a napkin that will absorb the excess.
