Chicken and vegetable calzone recipe
To make this closed pizza recipe, you will need some ingredients. For the test:
- wheat flour in the amount of 450 g;
- 250 ml milk (warm);
- bag (about 2 teaspoons) of dry yeast;
- half a teaspoon each of s alt and sugar;
- egg - 2 pcs;
- 1 tablespoon each of marjoram and olive oil.
For stuffing:
- chicken meat (breast) in the amount of 400 g;
- s alt, pepperchili;
- sweet red pepper (dry);
- 1 piece bell pepper;
- mushrooms weighing 200 g;
- 2 bulbs;
- zucchini (zucchini) weighing about 200 g;
- oregano and/or marjoram;
- garlic cloves - a couple of pieces;
- 250 ml tomato puree;
- 200g mozzarella cheese

How to cook calzone? We propose to consider the recipe step by step.
1 step
First you need to knead the dough. Heat milk to 40 degrees. Pour sugar and dry yeast into it. Mix thoroughly with a whisk and leave for 10 minutes in a warm place. In a separate bowl, beat eggs with s alt and olive oil. Pour in the flour. Then gradually pour in the milk with yeast. Knead the dough. Then put it in a warm place, covered with a bag and a film. It should rise within 30-40 minutes.
2 step
While the dough is rising, prepare the filling for the calzone. The recipe can be supplemented with any products to your taste. For example, sausages or pickles (capers). Calzone with cheese of various varieties will also turn out tasty and nutritious. Cut the chicken fillet into pieces. Sprinkle with s alt, pepper. Chop the chili pepper. Mix the ingredients and sprinkle the chicken with sweet paprika. Fry the meat pieces in hot oil.
3 step
Cut vegetables into slices of any size. After the meat is fried, add zucchini and pepper to it, simmer for a few minutes andremove from fire. Saute the onion in another pan. Cut the mushrooms into slices and add to it. Next, combine the mushrooms with chicken meat, season with crushed garlic and pour in the tomato puree (it should be thick). Sprinkle the ingredients with marjoram (oregano), s alt to taste and simmer for another 5 minutes. Then cool the stuffing.
4 step
By this time the dough should come up. Remember it again, divide it into 4 parts. Roll each part into a round layer. Put the filling on one side, sprinkle with cheese, cover with the other side and pinch the edges. You should get a big cheburek. Grease the top with liquid yolk or olive oil mixed with tomato puree. Put in a baking dish (cooking dish), which do not forget to grease with oil, and bake until golden brown.
