Lentil soup with croutons recipe
This vegetarian dish does not require any special cooking skills. For its preparation, elementary skills and the simplest products are enough. At the same time, it turns out tasty, he althy and nutritious. For 1 serving of soup you will need half a glass of lentils, a small onion, olive oil for frying, garlic to taste, s alt, a mixture of ground peppers, ½ boiled chicken egg, a teaspoon of flour and a slice of black bread.
First you need to wash and cook the lentils, according to the instructions on itpackaging. Then finely chopped onion and garlic, passed through a press, are added to it. Boil until the vegetables are ready, cool a little and rub through a sieve (it is better not to use a blender so as not to turn the mass into a puree, pieces of the ingredients should be felt in the dish). Separately, in a frying pan, fry the flour in oil until golden brown and mix with the broth. After that, the soup is brought to a boil, s alted, sprinkled with pepper and served with a chopped egg. To make the dish more satisfying, you can fry a piece of black bread with butter or olive oil.
Dal Lentil Soup Recipe (Indian version)
This spicy and rather spicy dish is very common in vegetarian cuisine. It is prepared from several types of cereals, which makes it very nutritious and quite tasty. For 200 gr. red lentils will need 100 gr. rice, large onion, a couple of cloves of garlic and ghee (about 100 gr.). Of the spices, curry, red pepper, ground ginger and cumin, dried basil and s alt are useful. All spices are added to taste, in the original half a teaspoon, but you can reduce the dosage.
This Lentil Soup recipe requires some pre-cooking. Therefore, you should start preparing it in advance. In particular, lentils should be soaked in cold water for at least 4 hours. Then it is thoroughly washed and boiled together with clean rice in 2 liters of s alted water for 40 minutes. In this case, the fire should be minimal so that the mass does not boil. To the frying panspread melted butter and fry finely chopped onions and garlic on it, adding spices at the end. After that, both masses are mixed, brought to a boil and removed from heat. When serving, each serving can be sprinkled with grated hard cheese.
Turkish Lentil Soup Recipe
The dish also belongs to vegetarian cuisine. It can be served as a puree soup, mashing the mass with a blender (in the original they do just that), or you can not do this. In both cases, it turns out delicious. A glass of red lentils will require half a liter of water, a small onion, a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste. S alt, mint, lemon juice, vegetable oil and ground pepper are also needed. All spices are added to taste.
Lentils are pre-washed and poured with water for at least an hour, but more is possible. Finely chopped onion is fried, adding a tomato. Then pour 2 liters of water and boil the lentils on low heat until tender, s alt and pepper.
If you cook lentil puree soup, the recipe will be the same, but at this stage the mass is ground with a blender. Next, mint is added to the finished dish, sprinkled with lemon juice and served with tortillas.
