To make ice cream with our own hands, we need:

  • 4 egg yolks;
  • 250 ml milk;
  • 250 g cream;
  • vanillin;
  • 100 g sugar (powdered sugar).

How to make your own ice cream at home:

  1. Bring the milk to a boil andimmediately remove from the stove.
  2. Add vanillin to hot milk and let it stand for 20 minutes.
  3. While the milk is infusing, beat the yolks and sugar well until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the cooled milk with vanilla and cream to the resulting mixture, mix everything and put on fire again. As soon as the mass begins to thicken and a film appears, remove from the stove. Important: do not let the ice cream boil, as soon as bubbles begin to appear, immediately reduce the heat. Otherwise, the whole mixture may simply curl up.
  5. Put the mass in a cool place and let cool to room temperature. It will be good if you strain the future ice cream through a strainer - this way you will get a homogeneous mass without lumps.

  7. Now you can put it in the fridge (not the freezer!) for 2 hours. After the specified time, remove the workpiece and beat well with a mixer at low speed for 3 minutes. The mass will become homogeneous and smooth. Now put the ice cream in the freezer for 2 hours.

  8. Time has passed, take it out again and beat again with a mixer for two minutes. At this stage, you can add nuts, chocolate chips or berries to the ice cream. And if you like classic ice cream, then don't add anything.
  9. Well, now the ice cream is almost ready, it remains to pour it into molds or leave it as it is, but be sure to put it back in the freezer so that it completely freezes. After 3 hours, the dessert will be completely ready.
  10. Now you know how to make homemade ice cream with your own hands, and you can treat your family and friends to them! And most importantly - you will be one hundred percent sure of its harmlessness.

There is another option on how to make ice cream with your own hands. It is even simpler than the previous one. True, here the store-bought ice cream will be included. When choosing it, pay special attention to the composition indicated on the label: it should not contain water and other impurities, only natural products: milk, butter, sugar, etc.
