For cooking we need:

- puff pastry (preferably yeast) - 250 grams;

- a small amount of flour (approximately two tablespoons);

- one egg;

- six teaspoons heaping sugar;- jam or berries for filling.

Ready-made puff pastry in a package is sold in sheets, and in order to make bagels, a circle is required, so the sheets must be folded into one lump, and only then rolled into a large circle. Do not roll it too thin, otherwise it will constantly tear. The thickness should be approximately three to four millimeters.

Next, the rolled circle must be divided into sectors. We cut it from the center to the edges. The outer edge should be the widest, the number of sectors depends on how big the circle is. Stepping back about a centimeter from the wide edge, lay out the filling. If you prefer fresh fruit, please note that the filling should not have a lot of liquid in the filling, otherwise it will spread and may burn during baking, which will ruin your puff pastry bagels.
