Compote - simple and very tasty

In order to make compote from ranetki according to this recipe, you need to take one kilogram of fruit, one liter of water, 400 grams of sugar and a little vanilla. Ranetki have a sweet and sour taste, so they are great for preservation, creating unusual notes. We sort the apples, removing damaged and overripe ones. We cut off the stalks of the fruit not completely, leaving the third part. Now you need to take a toothpick and chop the apples in several places. This procedure will keep the skin intact during the cooking process. Next, cook the syrup. Add sugar and vanilla to the water and boil. In the meantime, we put the apples in jars, leaving a little space (1 cm) on top. Fill containers with hot syrupand sterilize. After that, tightly close the jars with lids, turn over and leave to cool. Compote from ranetki for the winter is removed in a cold place.

Ranetki and chokeberry

Such a compote of ranetki and chokeberry will delight not only with taste, but also with an insane riot of colors. Let's take 800 grams of apples, 200 grams of chokeberry and 300 grams of sugar (for a three-liter jar). We wash apples and chokeberry. We remove their tails and sepals. Now we put the fruits in jars, which we pre-wash and sterilize. Next, fill the containers with boiling water. They should stand until the air bubbles stop rising. For better preservation, you can drain this water and fill the jars with new boiling water and hold for another 20 minutes. After that, we drain the water into a saucepan and cook the syrup by adding sugar. Then this syrup should be filled with jars of fruit and tightly corked. We wrap the compote from the ranetki until it cools completely, and then move it to a cooler place.

Ranetok makes a very tasty and fragrant jam. Just like in compotes, we use whole fruits. It will take one kilogram of apples, one kilogram of sugar and a glass of water. Ranetki should be washed, cut off the tails, leaving the third part, and pierce the skin in several places with a toothpick. After that, put them in boiling water for 5 minutes. Syrup must be made from sugar and water. The sugar needs to be completely dissolved. Pour the apples with the prepared syrup and cook everything together for about30 minutes. Next, turn off the heat and let the jam brew for about 2 hours. After that, we serve it to the table. But if it is necessary to prepare ranetki jam for the winter, then we put it in prepared jars immediately after the end of cooking.

You can also cook jam. To do this, take a kilogram of apples, 500 grams of sugar and a glass of water. Boil apples in water for about an hour. Then we rub them through a sieve.
