Description and history of occurrence

Beer "Diesel" (or "Doctor Diesel") is called youth beer, as it received a special demand among people under 30 years old. The glass bottle has an attractive design with "pimples" on the outside. Thanks to the narrowing in the middle, it is comfortable to hold in your hand. The bottle does not slip even when the drink is chilled to the point of perspiration.

The Diesel brand was created in 1998 by Russian brewer Ivan Taranov. In 2005, the well-known company Hineken bought it out. The new owners changed the design of the bottle and began to write the name of the drink only in Latin letters. Sales growth in 2008 (almost 20 times compared to 2006) specialistsassociated with the marketing ploy.

The Hineken brand itself began as a small brewery built in Amsterdam by Gerard Heineken. Today the company has more than 165 factories in 65 countries of the world. The name of its creator is written on each bottle to this day, and the business remains family-owned.

If we consider the composition of beer from the chemical side, then it is worth mentioning the following substances:

  • carbohydrates (glucose, dextrin, sucrose, polysaccharides);
  • ethyl alcohol (the main component of beer, providing calories);
  • nitrogen-containing elements (amino acids and polypeptides) that make up m alt;
  • water, carbon dioxide, yeast, etc.

Due to the large number of different substances in the composition, "Diesel" can be called a he althy beer. However, only the original will have a positive effect on he alth. Degrees in Diesel beer, according to the manufacturer, range from 4% to 4.5%.

Diesel beer can also adversely affect he alth. All because of the presence of the following components in it:

  1. Preservatives. These substances have the ability to change color,smell and taste of the drink. Previously, formalin was used instead, the use of which is strictly prohibited today.
  2. Enzymes. Needed to break down starches and complex sugars.
  3. Stabilizers. Serve to give the drink a homogeneous structure.
  4. Dyes.
  5. M alt substitutes.
  6. Sugar.

However, the above elements are contained in any similar drink, and not only in Diesel beer. Therefore, you should not put it below other brands.

Production Features

The manufacturer claims that the success of the beer lies in the use of special A-Yeast yeast, which gives the drink a rich taste and aroma filled with fruity notes.

Beer fermentation in production is carried out in vertical tanks, and not in horizontal ones, as in the factories of other brands. The beer is brewed for 28 days, which is longer than the brewing time of the drink at other breweries.

Specialists summed up the statistics: about 25 million glasses of Hineken beer are sold per day. Despite this, the brand says: "We always remember that the quality of a beer is not measured by the number of its sales, but by its purity."
