Composition
So, for the cake, take the following products:
- 1/2 tbsp. caramel sauce (you can buy ready-made in the store or make your own according to a separate recipe);
- 1/2 tbsp. and 2 more tbsp. spoons of flour;
- 1/3 tbsp. cocoa;
- 1/2 tbsp. spoons of soda;
- 1/4 tbsp. spoons of s alt;
- bitter chocolate (cut into pieces);
- 6 art. tablespoons melted butter;
- 1/2 tbsp. buttermilk;
- 1/2 tbsp. sugar;
- 2 eggs;
- 1 tsp vanilla.
Chocolate flan is the name of the cake, but flan does not actually contain cocoa. For its preparation you will need:
- 2 cans of condensed milk;
- 2, 5 tbsp. milk;
- cream cheese (Philadelphia type, heat untilroom temperature);
- 6 eggs;
- 4 egg yolks;
- 1 tsp vanilla.
Cooking
If you have prepared all the ingredients according to the list, you can start baking chocolate flan. The recipe, as mentioned above, is very simple:
- Preheat the oven. Flour a round cake tin and pour in the caramel sauce.
- In a small bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, soda and s alt. Set the mixture aside for a while. Place the dark chocolate and butter in a microwave safe dish and melt for about two minutes. Beat buttermilk, sugar, eggs, vanilla and chocolate butter until smooth. Then add the flour mixture and stir until smooth. Pour batter over caramel sauce.
- Combine the condensed milk, milk, cream cheese, eggs, egg yolks and vanilla, beat the mixture with a blender for one minute or until smooth. Slowly pour over the batter into the mold.
- Place the cake pan into a large frying pan. Fill the pan halfway with boiling water and bake the cake for 75-90 minutes at maximum temperature. You can check its readiness with a toothpick. Transfer the chocolate flan to a wire rack and cool to room temperature (about 2 hours). Put the finished cake in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours.
- To easily transfer the dessert to a beautiful dish, place the bottom of the dish for a minute in hot water. Cover the top of the dish with a plate and turn the flan over. Remove the mold slowly and carefully. You can serve dessert on the table.
Caramel sauce
