How to make a salad
Boiled meat is cut into cubes or thin strips. Tomatoes are washed and cut into 2 or 4 pieces. Remove the tail and seeds from the bell pepper, cut off the inner bridges, rinse inside and out, and then cut into thin strips. Cheese grate on a fine grater. Cut off stems from cucumber and chopstripes. The peel can be peeled off with a knife if desired. Wash the lettuce leaves and tear them straight with your hands into small pieces. - Boiled beef - 250 grams.

- 5 quail eggs.

- Fresh herbs - dill and parsley - several branches each.
Preparing food
The meat is boiled in s alted water and cooled to room temperature. Then cut into thin strips. Raw potatoes are rubbed on a thin fine grater (as for Korean carrots) and fried in vegetable oil in a frying pan. Be sure to stir all the time so that the thin slices do not burn. The potatoes should be golden brown and resemble the straw of a bird's nest. After frying, put it on a napkin to drain excess oil.
Eggs are used to decorate the nest. You can simply boil them and put them in the center of the finished dish, or you can chop them in a separate container and mix with cheese and mayonnaise, add chopped greens and form small “eggs” with your hands, putting them in a nest on top.
Peel the onion and chop into half rings. You can first remove the bitterness by dousing the onion with boiling water.
Cucumbers take only pickled. They are firmer and crispier than pickled ones. Try them, if there is a lot of vinegar, then rinse under waste water. Cut them upeither small cubes or thin semicircles.
Nest formation
For the beef and pickle salad, prepare a large dish, preferably with a high rim (not flat). Lay the meat on the bottom and make a mayonnaise net. Onion is poured on top, first squeeze out the liquid from it (if you doused it with boiling water). The next layer is cucumbers. You don't need to smear them with mayonnaise. Next, grated cheese is laid out in the middle of the dish. Lubricate the surface with mayonnaise. Sprinkle the cooled fried potato strips around the edges of the dish, forming a nest. In the center, sprinkle chopped greens on the cheese and lay either whole boiled quail eggs or hand-cooked ones, as in the photo in the article. The dish looks spectacular, so guests will be delighted with the new salad with boiled beef and cucumbers.
Walnut variant
This is a light layered salad, it is advisable to serve it in portions, to each guest separately. Prepare these foods:
- 120 grams of boiled beef.
- Pickled cucumber - 1-2 pieces.
- 2 or 3 hard-boiled chicken eggs.
- Crushed walnuts - ½ cup.
- For dressing - mayonnaise plus 1-2 garlic cloves squeezed through the holes of the garlic maker.

Potatoes and beets need to be boiled, peeled and cut into small pieces. Boil the meat and chop. Onion pour boiling water, add sugar and vinegar and hold in the marinade for 10 minutes, then squeeze. Cucumbers are cut into thin semicircles. The pomegranate is cleaned and the grains are deposited separately.
The salad is laid out in layers, each layer is smeared with mayonnaise. Meat is traditionally placed at the bottom, onions and cucumbers are placed on top, then the turn of potatoes and beets. Sprinkle pomegranate seeds on top of the salad.
