Preparing for the holiday always takes a lot of time and effort. You need to decorate the house, think over the menu, buy the missing products and put yourself in order. To make it fragrant, when preparing it, you need to add a couple of cloves of garlic, dill and parsley stalks to the water. And of course, it needs to be s alted. And when serving, it is good to flavor with butter or pour the juice from the meat, sprinkle with chopped cheese and herbs. You can put boiled potatoes in the center of a large dish, and baked meat around the edges.
If you don't have time to cook both the meat and the side dish, you can make "hot" for your birthday according to the "two in one" principle. Peppers stuffed with beef and broccoli are perfect for this. For 10-12 guests you will need:
- 6 peppers;
- 500g beef;
- 450g broccoli;
- 1-2 bulbs;
- 200g cheese;
- pepper, s alt to taste.
Mind meat and all vegetables except peppers. Add s alt, ground pepper to the resulting minced meat and mix. Wash the peppers, cut in half lengthwise and remove the stem and seeds. Stuff the halves, sprinkle with grated cheese on top and put the baking sheet with them in the oven for 35-40 minutes. Ready-made peppers are completely self-sufficient and do not require any garnish.
After you managed to choose the main course for the evening, it is already easier to choose hot snacks for your birthday. They should simply become an addition to the main menu and not make it heavier. Hawaiian sandwiches are perfect for these purposes. For them, the table loaf needs to be cut into thin slices, and then each into 4 more parts. Cut the ham and cheese into thin slices the size of a piece of loaf. Cut the pineapple slices into 8 equal pieces. Assemble the sandwich in the following sequence. Grease a piece of loaf with butter, put a piece of ham on top, then pineapple and cheese. Fasten the entire structure with a toothpick. Bake the finished sandwiches in the oven for 3-5 minutes until the cheese melts.
Of course, the choice of dishes for the holiday should be approached very carefully. Especially if it's "hot" for a birthday. But do not forget that over time, any food can get bored. Therefore, it is worth periodically reviewing your menu and finding a place for experimentation in it.
