Today, Bell's whiskey is the most popular spirit in the UK. In our market, this product is just beginning to appear, but, nevertheless, has already managed to gain popularity and recognition. Indeed, for the preparation of this drink, several different varieties of whiskey are used at once, each of which has at least five years of aging.
Bell's whiskey and its history
The history of this exquisite drink began in 1825. It was then that Thomas Sanderman opened a wine shop in the small port town of Perth. And around 1851, Arthur Bell joined him, who became an indispensable partner and an excellent leader.
It was Bell who first appreciated all the advantages of blending this traditional Scottish drink. He rightly believed that if you mix several excellent whiskeys together, you can get a drink with a much more pleasant taste.
Arthur Bell's work has not gone unnoticed. And two years later, his company became the official manufacturer of mixed varieties of the drink. And in the 80s, whiskey gained almost international popularity. Later management of the companypassed to the sons of Arthur, who until the last offered to assign the name Bell to the brand. However, Bells whiskey did not appear until 1904, after the death of Arthur Bell.
In the future, drinks of this brand became more and more popular. Bell's sons have opened branches almost all over the world. Branches appeared in the cities of Italy, New Zealand, India, France, Australia and North America. Whiskey "Bell's" became the most popular drink in Scotland, and then throughout the UK.
Indeed, Bell's differs from other brands not only in its exquisite taste, but also in its very favorable price. Moreover, the quality of the drink is in no way inferior to more expensive varieties.
How is Bell's whiskey made?
As already mentioned, Bell's whiskey is a blended drink. For its preparation, about thirty-five varieties of different single m alt scotch are used, which are produced in different parts of Scotland. Of course, the company produces several varieties of whiskey, each of which has a unique taste and smell. There is only one condition - each single m alt drink must be aged according to all the rules for at least five years. This fact testifies to the really good quality of Bell's drinks.
Whiskey has a pleasant, golden amber color and no less attractive smell. True connoisseurs feel here the tastes of spices, wood and nut butter, and sometimes apples, honey and almonds. And the aftertaste givessmoky fruit pie feeling.
True whiskey connoisseurs drink it neat, undiluted. But you can also dilute the drink with soda or add ice cubes to it. Bells is a whiskey often used to make delicious, sophisticated cocktails.
Although this brand appeared on the shelves of our stores not so long ago, it has already gained a lot of admirers. After all, Bella's whiskey is famous not only for its excellent taste, but also for its relatively affordable price.
