To do this, you need 2 kilograms of cauliflower, 2 bell peppers, two medium carrots, two thirds of a glass of vegetable oil, 3 large tablespoons of vinegar (9%), a few cloves of garlic, 3 large tablespoons of sugar, s alt, fresh parsley, bay leaf and pepper. Canned pickled cauliflower is prepared according to the following recipe. First, put a saucepan and mix in it 2 liters of water with two tablespoons of s alt. Bring this mixture toboiling. We disassemble the cabbage into pieces and put it in water.
Immediately turn off the fire and leave the cabbage in the water for 15 minutes. During this time, you can cut the necessary ingredients. Pepper is cleaned from seeds and chopped into strips. We clean the carrots and three on a grater with a long thin straw (as for Korean dishes). Chop the garlic and fresh herbs. Now we take the cabbage out of the water and wait until the excess liquid drains. Put it in a bowl and mix with the rest of the vegetables and herbs. Add s alt and pepper. In the remaining brine, add sugar, vegetable oil and vinegar. We spread the cabbage in the prepared containers, boil the marinade and fill it with the contents of the jars. If we prepare this dish for the winter, then tightly roll up the container with lids. But you can pickle cabbage for 4 hours in a room, and then take it out to the cold for 10 hours. After that, cauliflower will be ready. You don’t need to marinate it for a long time and after the set time you can try it.
Cabbage with pepper
The combination of these two vegetables gives unusual results. Pickled cauliflower with pepper is a great appetizer, tender and savory at the same time. Take a kilogram of sweet pepper, 200 grams of cauliflower, 150 grams of parsley and celery roots, 5 cloves of garlic and spices to taste.
For the marinade you will need a liter of water, 800 milliliters of vinegar (9%), two tablespoons of s alt and sugar and 2 bay leaves. After 16 hours, cauliflower will be ready. Marinate it for about 15hours and cook 1 hour. We clean and cut the bell pepper into several parts. We divide the cabbage into small pieces, and chop the spicy roots and garlic. We take a container for s alting and put a little garlic on the bottom. Next come vegetables and cauliflower. You can pickle using any spices. Layers of vegetables should be sprinkled with pepper, spices and s alt. Spread the remaining garlic on top. Press all ingredients lightly. We prepare the marinade from water, s alt, granulated sugar and vinegar. It must be boiled and pour over cabbage and pepper. We leave the dish for 12 hours. After that, drain the liquid from the cans and boil it again. We fill the jars for half an hour, and then drain the marinade again. Boil and pour the liquid into the jars again. Then they need to warm up for about 15 minutes. After that, peppers and cauliflower will be ready. You can pickle a vegetable in large containers, and for the winter it is better to close it in glass jars.
