Preparation of ingredients

After twenty minutes, it is advisable to check it for doneness with a fork so as not to overcook. Then drain the boiling water, and let the potatoes cool and peel them. Wash the carrots thoroughly using a new or clean sponge. Place in a small saucepan and, filling it with tap water, send it to the stove and boil it for forty minutes after boiling. After cooking, peel slightly cooled carrots.

Wash the beetroot very well and whole, without cutting off the root, to avoid separation during the cooking of the juice, put in a saucepan and boil until tender for sixty minutes. You can also dry the washed beets well and, wrapped in foil, bake until soft for one hour at one hundred and ninety degrees. Then, after cooling, it must be cleaned. Hard boil chicken eggs in cold water. Boil eight minutes after boiling. Cool in ice water and peel.

To prepare a delicious salad with herring, beets and apples, you need to boil or bake beets in advance. The cooking time is almost the same - one hour. Rinse and dry apples first.

Cut them into two halves, remove the core and chop into thin strips. Cut the finished herring fillet into slices. Peel the onion, wash and chop it into half rings, as thin as possible. Peel the boiled beets and chop into strips.
