- Chop whole almonds. Heat almond flakes in a pan until golden brown.
- Separate egg yolks and whites. Add 80 g of sugar, cream to the yolks. Then the mass should be put on medium heat and begin to stir it until it thickens.
- Remove the resulting cream from heat and add butter to it, stir and leave for now.
- Beat the egg whites, add 120 g of sugar and ground almonds to them.
- The resulting dough should be divided into two equal parts and roll out cakes with a diameter of about 20-22 cm. Then they should be placed in the oven for 20 minutes.
- Remove the cakes and sprinkle each of them with 20 g of sugar.
- Pour half of the cream onto one cake, then place the second one on top. The remaining cream is poured onto the top of the cake and onto its sides. The finished dish is sprinkled with almond flakes.
