- turkey breast (fillet only) - 0.7 kg;
- tomato - 1 pc.;
- celery root - 0.50 g;
- peeled carrots - 0.300 kg;
- oniononion, garlic - 3 cloves;
- spices: marjoram, sugar, s alt, ground black pepper.
How to cook a turkey with vegetables
- Rinse the meat, pat dry and cut into small cubes of equal size.
- Heat water, put turkey cubes in it, bring to a boil. Reduce the fire and hold for another quarter of an hour on low heat.
- Preparation of vegetables. Rinse carrots and celery, peel, dry and grate on a medium grater. Chop the onion, combine with other vegetables. Throw the raw ingredients into the pan with the turkey, mix thoroughly, close the lid and simmer the same amount. In order to get a richer taste of meat, shortly before the dish is ready, place the pan in the oven. Turkey with vegetables in the oven should stay for 10-15 minutes. The dish will get juiciness and tenderness.
- The tomato is left, it needs to be washed, peeled and cut into small cubes. Finely chop the garlic cloves and mix with the tomato slices. Send the ingredients to the stewpan to the turkey with carrots and celery, add sugar, s alt, dried marjoram, season with pepper. Now stir everything, cover again with a lid and simmer for 5 minutes until cooked. Braised turkey with vegetables can be served with rice, mashed potatoes or as a meal on its own. Fresh greens will emphasize the taste of meat and will contribute to its better digestibility.

Georgian classic dish slightly changed: chicken meat will be replacedturkey. It will turn out no worse and no better, but just different, but just as tasty. For this colorful dish you will need the following ingredients:
- part of turkey - drumstick with meat and bone - 1 kg;
- tomatoes - 0.5 kg;
- onion - 0.5 kg;
- garlic - 4 large cloves;
- spices: s alt, coriander, saffron (just a little), suneli hops, classic satsebeli or tkemali sauce (10 g);
- fresh herbs: dill, cilantro, basil.
How to make chakhokhbili
To work, you will need dishes with thick walls - a cauldron, a saucepan or a frying pan. Remove the meat from the bone and cut into large pieces. Put the dishes on the fire, heat up and put the turkey in it. Do not put fats and oils. Fry, then cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Then remove the lid, carefully drain the broth formed in the pan into a separate bowl - you will need it later. Now fry the meat for 15 minutes, making sure that it does not burn.
Chop the onion into large enough pieces, throw it into the meat, mix and fry for another 15 minutes.
Tomatoes "free" from the skin, cut into medium pieces. Grind garlic cloves and combine with tomatoes, then throw in turkey and onions. Add all the spices, s alt and pour the broth. Mix the ingredients, cover and simmer for 40 minutes. 10 minutes before readiness, add chopped greens. Ready chakhokhbili is in harmony with boiled rice or potatoes.
