Step cooking

Step 1. Warm milk to body temperature and dissolve sugar and s alt, as well as yeast in it. Leave warm for a few minutes to activate the yeast: a head of foam appears on the surface of the milk.

Step 2. In a separate bowl, melt the butter (preferably in a water bath), add the yolks to it and grind thoroughly. Add the egg mass to the yeast mass, mix and, adding flour in small parts, knead everything thoroughly.

Step 3. It is important not to abuse the amount of flour so as not to spoil the dough: the softer it is, the tastier the donuts will become. Knead the dough on the table for10 minutes, achieving perfect elasticity, and then place in a clean dish and cover with a towel. Leave in a warm room for an hour or an hour and a half: the dough should double in volume.

It is necessary to knead the dough on the table and roll it into a layer, cut into strips 2 cm wide and 5-8 cm long, or simply into squares with a side of five centimeters.
