The company was named Becks & May. Subsequently, it was the name of the brewer that became a household name and served as the basis for the formation of the brand. In 1874 and 1876, beer was first awarded very prestigious awards in Germany, after which the founders decided to expand to other trading floors.

Today, the company has production facilities in Australia, Serbia, Ukraine, Russia, Montenegro, China, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
