  2. Syrup of 500 g of sugar and 70 ml of water is boiled in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
  3. As soon as the syrup begins to thicken, remove it from the stove and pour over the berries.

  5. As soon as the syrup has cooled, it must be drained from the berries and poured back into the saucepan.
