For baking, you need 0.5 kg of flour, 1.5 teaspoon of s alt, 200 grams of butter, a glass of milk, 1 egg and 15 grams of dry yeast.

Puff pastry croissants

Puff-yeast dough always makes unusually tender and tasty croissants. The recipe for baking at home reveals a lot of interesting points. So, for the preparation of puff-yeast dough, the following ingredients are needed: 0.5 kg of wheat flour, 1 glass of milk, 80 grams of sugar, 250 grams of margarine and a pinch of s alt. Next, you need to act in this way. Yeast is dissolved in warm milk, sugar, 50 grams of softened margarine, flour and s alt are added to them. After the mixture is infused, the dough is kneaded and rolled out in the form of a rectangular layer. On its middle part put 100 grams of soft margarine, cut into cubes. Next, the lateral part of the layer is wrapped, covering the middle one, and gently rolled out. They put it on top againthe remaining pieces of margarine and cover with a layer. Then the dough is rolled out and folded at least twice. It is placed in the refrigerator for twenty minutes. After they got it, they also roll it out, fold it and cool it again. This procedure with the test is done three more times. Its puffiness and tenderness are highly dependent on the number of rolls - the more the better. Croissants are prepared almost the same way at home from puff pastry.

Next, you can proceed to the formation of baking. It is laid out on a baking sheet moistened with water and left for twenty minutes. In the oven, croissants are kept at a temperature of 230 degrees until golden brown. Ready-made pastries are smeared with water and sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Walnut croissants

Extremely tender and melt-in-your-mouth croissants at home can be prepared by adding nuts to the dough. This is how they are prepared. Margarine and sugar are ground in a deep bowl until smooth. Next, add the yolks, sour cream, nuts and mix thoroughly. Then they add flour and knead the dough, after which it must be put in the refrigerator for two to three hours.

After the specified time, the dough is rolled out, croissants are formed and placed on a baking sheet greased with margarine. After baking, remove them carefully with a spatula, because hot pastries are very fragile. Once completely cooled, sprinkle the croissants with powdered sugar.

In order to knead the dough, you need the followingproducts: 0.5 kg of flour, 400 grams of margarine, 140 grams of granulated sugar, a glass of nuts, 2 yolks and 0.5 cups of sour cream.
