  • Boil three potatoes and one carrot until tender in hot water, without peeling the vegetables.
  • Peel two large cucumbers and cut them into large cubes.
  • Wash the green onion and dill thoroughly and then chop with a knife.
  • Remove the boiled vegetables from the skin and cut into cubes.
  • Put vegetables into a saucepan, add green peas, s alt and spices to taste. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and let them brew in the refrigerator for about half an hour.

When the s alt and spices disperse, transfer the contents of the pan to the plates, fill them with kvass and servetable with fresh sour cream.
