For it you will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 raw egg yolk;
  • 4 anchovies are small dried fish;
  • a couple of garlic cloves;
  • a teaspoon of table s alt and the same amount of ground black pepper;
  • 1 teaspoon each of Dijon mustard and Worcestershiresauce;
  • 150ml quality olive oil, best Extra Virgin;
  • tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice and 50 g grated Parmesan cheese.

First, whisk the egg yolk, s alt and mustard in a deep bowl. Then add a little bit of olive oil to them. You should end up with a mixture with the consistency of mayonnaise. After that, add lemon juice, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and powdered anchovies to the mass. And at the very end, add grated Parmesan cheese. The classic Caesar sauce recipe, although it requires, as we have already mentioned, ingredients that are quite unusual for us, they are what make it so tasty and unusual. Any vegetable salad, not just Caesar itself with chicken or seafood, will be delicious if you generously pour this dressing over it.

If you didn’t have mustard or Worcestershire sauce on hand, then salad dressing can be prepared without them, it will turn out just as tasty. Take:

  • a quarter cup of mayonnaise;
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • grated "Parmesan" - a third of a glass;
  • a couple of dried anchovies;
  • half a glass of olive oil;
  • black pepper and s alt.

Squeeze the garlic, combine it with mayonnaise, lemon juice, s alt and ground blackpepper, as well as chopped anchovies. For mixing, you can use a blender, mixer, or just beat everything in a bowl with a whisk until smooth. When ready, pour olive oil into the sauce in small portions. Cheese, if desired, can be added at the very end or simply sprinkled on top of the salad. Of course, chefs in restaurants use the classic Caesar sauce recipe for dressing the salad of the same name, but if you take the above cooking method as a basis, your dish will not suffer at all and will be just as tasty. It goes well with a chicken dish - this is a classic option, as well as with shrimp or smoked red fish.
