In principle, gravy for pasta is a sauce that abundantly flavors the main product and gives it a unique taste and aroma. It is mainly used for second courses and acts as a kind of side dish. Gravy for pasta can be very different: creamy, vegetable, cheese, cooked with meat, seafood or mushrooms. It all depends on the taste and availability of products. The easiest option is vegetable. It will take no more than 30 minutes to prepare it. Yes, and the necessary products can always be found in the refrigerator. The ratio of products is approximately as follows: 1 sweet pepper, 1 onion, a couple of cloves of garlic, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, a glass of broth, 4 tablespoons of tomato paste, 4 mediumtomatoes, s alt and a teaspoon of any seasonings. You need to cook in the following sequence:
1. Heat the oil in a frying pan.
2. Add chopped onion and pepper. Stew the mass for 6-7 minutes until the products become softer.
3. Then add garlic and tomatoes, previously chopped in a blender, to the mixture. In this composition, heat the mass for another 5 minutes.
4. Now it remains to add the pasta and spices, and then cook the mixture, stirring constantly for about 20 minutes. As soon as it thickens, we can assume that the pasta sauce is ready.
Creamy Miracle
The ingredients for gravy can be any food. Take, for example, cheese. It is already initially associated with pasta. You can prepare such a wonderful sauce without much hassle in just 10 minutes. The products you need are the simplest: a glass of any soft cheese, black pepper, 150 milliliters of milk, s alt and ground paprika. Everything is prepared quickly in two steps:
1. Pour milk into a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
2. Add cheese and heat mixture until completely melted.
3. Add remaining ingredients, mix well and remove from heat. Fragrant mac and cheese gravy is the perfect accompaniment to the dish.
Mushroom Delight
Each housewife has her own recipe for pasta gravy. Over time, it can improve and turn into a signature dish, which is usually prepared to welcome welcome guests. A good option for such a case can be mushroom gravy. Fromproducts you will need the following: 3 fresh champignons, a glass of sour cream, 1 onion, s alt, a tablespoon of flour and vegetable oil. It's easy to prepare:
1. Mushrooms should be thoroughly washed and cut into thin slices, and chopped onions in half rings. The thickness of the gifts of the forest should be minimal to make the mass more homogeneous.
2. Put the pan on the fire, pour oil into it and pour the mushrooms. They need to be lightly fried, stirring constantly.
3. S alt the mixture, add the onion and continue to fry until it becomes soft and transparent.
4. Then the boiling mass should be sprinkled with flour so that it is more viscous, and not crumbly. And don't forget to stir all the time.
5. Now the last and most important stage. Pour the almost finished mixture with sour cream, mix and cover with a lid. Simmer for no more than five minutes so that the dairy product does not have time to decompose into fractions. That's all. Now you can pour a thick fragrant mixture on any pasta and safely bring them to the table.
Nutritional supplement
No one will argue that gravy with meat for pasta is better than any other. She transforms them from a simple side dish into a mouth-watering dish on its own. You can make it both from pieces of fresh meat, and from ready-made minced meat. Here everyone does it differently. For example, let's take this option: 100 grams of minced meat, ground pepper, 3 onions, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 processed cheese, s alt, tomato paste and any spices. This mixture is prepared for twopans:
1. On one, you need to fry minced meat in vegetable oil.
2. Melt the cheese in another pan and add onion and tomato paste to it.
3. After 10 minutes, mix the contents in different dishes in one, cover tightly with a lid and leave on low heat for another 10 minutes.
4. Add chopped garlic to the resulting mass and bring the product to readiness. S alt, spices and pepper can be added to taste at any stage. In the end, you should get a delicious thick mass that perfectly complements the freshly cooked pasta.
