Each hostess tries to lay not only a hospitable and generous holiday table, but also to pamper her guests with something original and especially tasty. And it would be nice if the dish was prepared quickly, and the products were affordable. One of these magic wands for hostesses is the “day and night” salad. Basis - seafood

Cooking
Salad Recipe "Dayand night" is distinguished by its simplicity in preparation. All products are cut randomly, the main thing in this dish is a beautiful presentation and decoration.
We get squids from the jar. If the pieces are large enough, then cut them into long slices. Boil the shrimp for three minutes, cool and rinse under running water, peel off the shell. Cut them in half.
Apple can be chopped on a coarse grater. The onion is cut into small cubes, it should be almost invisible in the salad. Cheese - on a grater. Grind greens.
Assemble the salad "Day and night" - a matter of five minutes. Some housewives lay out the products in layers, but in the original they are simply mixed together, generously flavored with mayonnaise. It is recommended to decorate the dish in the theme of "yin - yang". Pour the mixed ingredients into a serving bowl. We fall asleep one half with grated boiled egg protein, the second part with olives finely cut into thin circles.

Cheese salad "Day and Night" is the version of the dish that almost any housewife dreams of. In this recipe, you do not have to boil anything, waste time preparing food, etc. All the ingredients listed below are simply crushed into even squares or cubes and mixed together.

- Egg - 2 pcs
- Pair of canned pickles.
- Hard cheese - 20-30 g.
- Olives - jar.
- Corn - can.
- Mayonnaise.
Process
Open all jars: cucumbers, olives, corn and drain the liquid. Cheese is crushed on the smallest grater. The egg is boiled and also rubbed quite finely. Cucumbers can be cut arbitrarily, but in order to support the general concept, we divide each long stick into three parts. The result is even and neat cubes.
Mix all products together, flavor with homemade (preferably) mayonnaise and start decorating. In the cheese version of the salad, canned corn is used for decoration. This version of the Day and Night salad is more satisfying and high-calorie. You can make it a little “lighter” by not frying the chicken, as it says in the original recipe, but by boiling it. Everything is at the discretion of the owner. Chicken breast after processing is cut into long strips. The potatoes are boiled, cooled and also cut into strips.
Egg and cheese should be chopped with a grater. We mix these two ingredients. One part is added to the salad, the second will go to decorate the dish. Onionshould also be cut as small as possible. In the meat salad "Day and Night" there should be two main satisfying products: potatoes and meat. They are cut larger so that the taste buds immediately grab onto these tastes. The rest of the products, so to speak, are the background to enhance the effect.
Finish by mixing all products and adding mayonnaise. You can s alt a little. We complete the preparation of the Day and Night salad with decoration: cover one side with olives, the other with a mixture of grated egg and cheese.
