First of all, you should do the dough for the cake. Pour 2 cups of flour onto a clean surface (after sifting through a fine sieve). Grate the butter (it is best if it is slightly frozen). Then mix flour with butter. Add fat sour cream (200 g), mix everything thoroughly and immediately begin to knead. We divide the finished dough into 6 equal parts, wrap each part in cling film or in special baking paper and send it to the refrigerator or balcony for a couple of hours.

After this time, we take out the dough. Roll each piece into a thin round pancake. From the scraps left over from six cakes, we are preparing the seventh cake and topping for the cake. Now you need to prepare the buttercream. To do this, take the remaining yolks, add 200 grams of sugar, put on fire. Stirring all the time, bring to a temperature of about 60 degrees Celsius. After we also shift the yolks into a deep container and beat with a mixer. With the mixer still on, slowly add the butter. The result should be a smooth and soft cream.

Now the most interesting part of making the Kremlin cake. We spread the first cake on the dish on which we will serve the cake. The smooth side of the cake should be on the bottom. Lubricate the top side with yolk cream. Gently place the next cake on top and spread the protein cream on it. And so in turn all 6 cakes. The 5th cake also needs to be smeared with lemon filling on top of the yolk cream.

The last, seventh cake must be hoisted with the smooth side up. And we grease the whole cake with protein cream - both the top and the sides.
