So how do you prepare this wonder material?

There are a lot of recipes for making s alt dough for modeling, but we will consider the main one. First, take a glass of s alt and about the same amount of flour and mix everything. Then what happened, pour a tablespoon of vegetable oil and half a glass of water. Mix everything and knead with your hands until the dough becomes homogeneous in composition. It is also necessary that it does not stick to the hands. If you want the modeling dough to be more elastic, you can try replacing the water with starch jelly.

To prepare it, you need to dissolve a tablespoon of starch in half a glass of water. In a separate saucepan, bring 200 grams of water to a boil and pour the starch solution into it in a small stream, remembering to stir the mixture. Our jelly will be ready when its contents become transparent and thicken a little. Let the mixture cool and add it to the flour instead of water.

If you want your modeling dough crafts to be multi-colored, you can use the help of food coloring, which are sold in the store. You can use plain gouache or even carrot or beetroot juice.

When painting products from s alt dough, it is worth taking into account the fact that after drying, the food coloring will not change its color, but the gouache will turn a little pale. But it should be borne in mind that it is necessary to paint the figures only after they have dried. And drying of such products should be carried out in an oven with a temperature of about 80 ° C. For simplicity, you can use a heating battery.
