- 180ml water;

How to make dough?

- Take a deep bowl, put the flour sifted through a sieve into it.
- Add required amount of lemon juice, s alt, water and olive oil. The recipe does not provide, but it is not forbidden to add one egg, in which case the dough will be tastier.
- Stir all the ingredients with a hand whisk or mixer. You should get a homogeneous mass. The presence of flour lumps is not allowed, so it is recommended to strain the batter through a fine sieve. Note! Kadaif should be liquid, but not too much. The dough should not spread out in the pan. If necessary, you can add a small amount of flour and mix thoroughly again.
- Now the dough must be poured into a pastry bag and take the thinnest nozzle. If such a device is not available, then you can use a regular paper file by making a small hole in the corner.
- Put a frying pan on the fire, grease it with vegetable oil. Attention! It is to grease with oil, and not to pour it, otherwise the dish will be spoiled. Squeeze thin strands of dough into the pan using a bag.
- If the frying pan is hot enough, then it is necessary to remove the dried kadaif after 15 seconds. Fry on one side only.
This completes the process of making Turkish kadaif dough. From ready-made threads, you can immediately prepare various dishes or simply freeze the dough and use it in the future.
Quite often, when freezing, housewives make mistakes that lead to the fact that the dough is frozen in one piece, therefore, if you need to use only some part, you have to defrost everything at once. When the finished dough is placed in a plastic bag, it must be put in the freezer and periodically come and mix the kadaif. This dish is prepared on the basis of kadaif dough, it also came to us from Turkey. Kunafa is a very high-calorie sweet dish, but despite this, it contains a large amount of useful vitamins and minerals that every person needs.
Ingredients for cooking
To make this wonderful dish, you need to prepare the following amount of food:
- Kadaif dough – 400g
- 400g sugar (for making syrup).
- Just a little cardamom (less than half a teaspoon).
- 200 g of nuts or peanuts (you can take whatever you like more).
- Dried fruits - 100 g (it can be raisins, dried apricots, etc.).
- A small amount of butter.
How to cook?
If you have doughalready ready, then cooking kunafa will not take much time and effort. First you need to boil the sugar syrup. To do this, take a small saucepan with a thick bottom, pour 200 ml of clean water on the bottom, pour 400 g of sugar all over. Turn on the heat below medium. Add a small amount of cardamom, you can also use freshly squeezed lemon juice to improve the taste. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
Now you need to peel the nuts and soak the dried fruits in hot water. Take a baking dish. Kunafu can be made both in one general form, and in several small ones (in portions). If cooking will be carried out in one container, then you need to put half the dough on the bottom, and do not forget to grease the mold with butter. Put nuts on top, it is recommended to leave a little to sprinkle the dish on top as a decoration. Then spread dried fruits over the entire plane, lay out a layer of finished dough again.
Preheat the oven to 200-220 degrees, bake this Turkish dish for 10-20 minutes. Readiness should be checked by the color of the dough. It must be brown. When the dish is ready, it must be poured abundantly with sugar syrup and set aside for a few minutes, let the mass become more tender and palatable. In some cases, people add honey to the syrup.
