In August 2011, in the city of Lvov (Ukraine), the international alcohol holding Global Spirits began the production of a special vodka called Morosha. The uniqueness of this drink is that, unlike others, this vodka uses water from real mineralsources of the Carpathians. This, according to the producers, makes Morosha vodka softer and more natural.

A wonderful advertising campaign, which was carried out mainly on television, has borne fruit: after 2 months, the company sold 1 million bottles of the drink.

Customers liked the softness of Morosha vodka, which was noticeable in comparison with other spirits in the same price category.

Over time, the production of "Morosha" began in Russia - in Vologda. Neither the recipe nor the design of "Moroshi" has changed, however, those who have tried vodka both there and there note the difference in taste.

Composition of vodka

The main "trick" of this drink is the use of mineral waters in the composition. They are mined in the mountain spring "Mizunskoye" in the tract Lisinets, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Due to the fact that the water beats at an altitude of 1122 meters above sea level, it has a special mineral composition. The same water is used as a table water in this region, and you can drink it without prior filtration.

Water is defended for some time, after which it is completely ready to make vodka from it. Especially for this mineral water, a deluxe alcohol was selected, which creates a unique taste of an alcoholic drink and affects its softness.

To fully support the image of "eco", aromatic spirits from mountain herbs and oatmeal infusions are added to Morosha. Thus, the Hetman plant creates a unique vodka withoutpronounced alcohol taste.

Marketing

Initially, the owner of the holding, Yevgeny Chernyak, achieved the promotion of the Morosha brand due to the environmental friendliness of the product. Despite the fact that the price of this vodka is higher than average, consumers liked this drink precisely because of its naturalness and softness.

"Morosha" is a word from the dialect of the inhabitants of the Carpathians, which means an atmospheric phenomenon when steam from trees rises above the forest, resembling fog. The word sounded so close to the brand that in general consumers do not even think about the origin of the word.

Immediately launched a big advertising campaign on TV. A beautiful commercial with views of the Carpathians and a clear position with the prefix "eco" interested many. Also, the producers “transferred” the naturalness of this vodka to a bottle in the form of a drop with a label in the form of a leaf. This has become an excellent detail that distinguishes Morosha on store shelves among other vodkas. The cork of the bottle, made from natural raw materials, is also different.

Over time, the advertising campaign leaked to the Internet, and a high-quality official website of TM "Morosha" was created. More than a dozen people worked on his work for a long time. Thoughtful advertising and emphasis on naturalness have done their job: today Morosha is in the TOP 5 in Ukrainethe most popular vodka in the country and is confidently gaining popularity in Russia. In 2013, vodka showed incredible development in its homeland and became more popular by 81%. This indicator is one of the largest in the world in terms of brand spread.

Since 2013, the Russian North plant in Vologda has been producing Morosha vodka for the Russian market. Here it is produced using the same technologies, but on mineral water from a source in Karelia. Although this is one brand, many consumers experience a significant difference in vodkas from different countries. In Russia, Morosha vodka is not of such high quality, customer reviews are proof of this.

Types of "Moroshi"

Depending on the height at which water is extracted from a source in the Carpathians, manufacturers have created 5 different modifications of this alcoholic drink.

• "Spring" ("Dzherelna"), the water for which is extracted at an altitude of 470 m above sea level.
• Karpatskaya - 630 m.
• Zapovednaya - 850 m.
• "On the water from Lake Synevyr" - 989 m.
• Premium - 1050 m.

Also, since the end of October 2015, a special, "Vodograyna" vodka has been produced. Water for it is extracted at an altitude of 430 m. Infusions of yarrow, lemon peel and black elderberry are added to it.

The criterion for Russia, according to which Morosha vodka differs, is the level of softness. So, it has 1, 2 and 3 levels, and each of the buyers can choose the right one for themselves. Thus, Morosha 3 vodka is the moststrong, and 1 - the softest. Bottles are available in 0.5, 0.7 and 1.0 liters.

In Ukraine, this vodka really has a different taste. Due to the greater variety, it is much easier for the consumer to choose a favorite option.

In general, Morosha vodka is one of the most popular in the homeland, despite the general rise in prices in the country. This is due to the quality of the drink, which differs from the products of other manufacturers in softness and taste.

In Russia the situation is different. Many buyers note that the vodka produced at the Russkiy Sever plant is not the best, although it uses quite high-quality Alfa alcohol. Moreover, some buyers complained not only about the unpleasant aftertaste of the drink, but also about the fact that it freezes at temperatures below 0. Therefore, Morosha vodka is not so popular in Russia, reviews on Internet resources are proof of this.
