What do you need to cook?

- cold water (you can take carbonated water, it also works well);
- ice;
- five or six strawberries (optional and to taste).
Step one: ice
Before making homemade watermelon lemonade, let's make mint ice. Take ice molds, finely chop the mint, if the leaves are small, then you can put them whole in molds. Of course, it is better if the latter are rubber, since ice is pulled out of them better. You can also cut fruit, such as strawberries, but this is optional. Next, fill everything with water from above and send it to the freezer for a couple of hours.
Step two: extract the pulp
While the mint-strawberry ice reaches the desired state in the freezer, we need to extract the pulp from the berry. To do this, cut the watermelon in half. Then we separate the pulp from the peel. Next, mode it into slices, and then into squares. After that, we extract all the bones from them. Throw it all into a blender and beat well until smooth.
If there is no blender, then you can use a mixer or just crush the pulp with something, such as a crush or just a wooden spoon. After that, you need to skip the watermelon juice through a fine sieve. This is necessary in order to obtain a homogeneous mass. If you do not strain the pulp, then the consistency of our lemonade will be similar to a smoothie, but this already depends on your preference.
Step three: add lemon
For the next step, we will need five or six medium-sized lemons. So, first we rub the zest of all citrus fruits with a special grater. Then add to watermelon juice. We leave lemons without zest, later we will squeeze them through a juicer. Beforehow to do this, you should clean the citrus fruits from all the seeds (they are clearly not needed in the drink). Add freshly squeezed lemon juice to watermelon lemonade. After we have mixed these two components, you can beat the drink again with a blender. Then you can move on to the next step.
Step four: sweet treat
Next we need to prepare the sugar syrup. How to do it? To do this, take five to six tablespoons of sugar, fill it with water and put it on the stove for about four to five minutes until the liquid boils. After that, we send the syrup to the refrigerator. When it cools down, you can add watermelon juice to it. You can also replace the syrup with sugar or honey (also to taste).
Step five: mix
If you haven't forgotten, mint-strawberry ice is freezing in the freezer. It's time to get him. Add watermelon juice of your choice to Strawberry Mint Ice. After that, we need to dilute it with cold water. You can take slightly carbonated water or even a Sprite drink. This will definitely not spoil your watermelon lemonade! We add as much water as the juice itself. Although, of course, it is better that the last component is more than water.
