Dessert is baked over the entire length of the baking sheet and after it is ready, it is left to cool there, and then cut into individual cakes. The height of the dish should be quite large. All hostesses prepare pletska cakes in different ways. Recipes with berries, fruits, nuts, poppy seeds and jam are especially popular.

This dish is served mainly at various festive events. They are usually brought to the table in vases with legs along with cold appetizers.

Ingredients for dough:

  • 500 g sifted flour.
  • One glass of sugar.
  • Five yolks.

Cooking method:

  3. Then the dough should be divided into three equal parts. First you need to roll out the first part and put it in a baking dish.
  4. The next layer is minced dried fruits mixed with sugar.
  5. Dough goes over the dried fruits again (it needs to be grated on a coarse grater).
  6. Next, gently spread jam with a spoon.
  7. The remaining dough should be grated over the jam on a coarse grater.
