Cooking rice

Sushi rice is sold in almost all supermarkets. Indeed, it is worthorder above. Therefore, you can save money by making your own special rice.

For this you need to take round-grain or, as it is also called, Krasnodar rice. Take a glass of cereal and rinse it thoroughly with cold water about eight times until the liquid becomes completely clear.

Pour rice into a spacious saucepan and fill it with water in a ratio of one to one and a half - that is, one and a half glasses of water is needed for a glass of cereal. We put the dishes on high heat, and when the water boils, cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 15-20 minutes, do not open the lid in any case. When the rice is ready, remove it from the heat and leave it for another ten minutes - to steam in a saucepan. It is not necessary to stir the cereal during cooking, as well as open the lid, otherwise everything will be spoiled. Only after the pan has been removed from the heat and the rice has stood can you remove the lid.

While the rice is being cooked and infused, you need to prepare a special dressing. To do this, pour 50 milliliters of rice vinegar, half a teaspoon of s alt and half a tablespoon of sugar into a saucepan. We put it all on a low heat and stir until the sugar and s alt dissolve, then remove the dressing from the heat and let cool. Then pour the dressing into the rice and mix with a wooden spatula so as not to damage the grains. When the rice reaches room temperature, you can make rolls out of it.

Start forming rolls

Bacon rolls are made in the same way as all other rolled sushi. To do this, put a cling film on a bamboo mat. Afterof this nori sheet is placed with the rough side up and spread the rice evenly. Too much pressure on the grain is not worth it. After that, turn the rice sheet upside down. Spread a little further from the edge of a long strip of cheese "Philadelphia" and cut into thin slices of avocado (or cucumber). We roll everything into a roll with the help of a mat, and when it is ready, put strips of bacon on the mat, put the resulting sausage on it and also roll it so that the bacon "hug" the roll along the entire length. Cut into 6-8 pieces and serve.
