Cottage cheese is a universal product. It can be used in the preparation of sweets, namely various kinds of pastries, as a filling for cakes or in its usual form, before adding a little sugar or jam to taste. In addition to desserts, cottage cheese is also used in dishes with vegetables, cheese and garlic. This article is devoted to such a culinary masterpiece as cottage cheese envelopes with sugar. The recipe for this dessert is quite simple and varied.
Recipe 1: basic
Initially, consider how to cook cottage cheese envelopes with sugar in the simplest way. Recipe 1 includes the following products:
- Cottage cheese (with preference given to products with a fat content of about 5-9%) - 400g
- Butter - 200 g will be enough
- Sugar - about 150 g for the dough, for the filling - according totaste.
- Baking powder - no more than 2 tsp
- Flour - about 300-350 g.
Now that all the necessary products are available, you should proceed directly to the preparation of the envelopes. First, grind the butter and sugar in a separate bowl. Then curd should be added to the resulting mass. All ingredients must be mixed thoroughly. Then, baking powder is added in turn, and only then flour is added to the rest of the products in small portions, while pre-sifted. The resulting dough is best left in the cold for half an hour. Then you should roll it out, but not very thinly (the thickness should be about 3-5 mm). Next, the layer must be cut into squares, the sides of which are 8 cm. Sugar is added to the center of each piece to taste.
Now the matter remains small - you need to make envelopes from squares. To do this, the corners of the pieces should be connected in the center. Now the envelopes should be laid out on a baking sheet, previously covered with special baking paper, and left in the oven for about 25 minutes. So the curd envelopes with sugar were prepared. A recipe with a photo will help evaluate the appearance of the resulting delicacy. Bon appetit!
Recipe 2: Another Form
You can try to cook other curd envelopes with sugar. The recipe will be similar to the previous, basic one, but there will be some peculiarities. The list of required products is as follows:
- Cottage cheese (choose bettermedium fat product) - about 500 g.
- Margarine - no more than 250 g.
- 2 cups flour.
- Sugar - about 3-4 tbsp. l.
- Baking Powder - 1 tsp
Let's start with margarine. It should be grated on a coarse grater and left warm for a short time. While the margarine is softening, combine the flour with the baking powder and add the cottage cheese crushed with a fork to it. Now you can combine the resulting mass with margarine. You need to knead the dough until it is no longer sticky. Now, to make it even more elastic when cooking, leave it for an hour in the cold. After this time, the dough should be rolled out and circles squeezed out of it, while being quite voluminous. Sugar can be placed in the center of each piece if desired.
Now you need to make envelopes using a new technique. To do this, the circles are folded in half 2 times, and their semicircular edge is pinched with fingers. It remains only to send the envelopes to the oven for baking for 20 minutes, after coating them with yolk for shine.
Recipe 3: Alternative
You can also make curd envelopes with sugar in another way. The recipe can be used to choose from any of the above. Only the dough should be rolled out into a large circle. Then it is cut into 8 equal parts, and each of these pieces is slightly cut from the narrow to the wide edge 3 more times. Sugar to taste is laid out on the intact part of the pieces. Next, roll up the envelopes, placingnarrow edge under the wide part. It turns out such fine curd envelopes with sugar.
