First prepare all the ingredients.

Olivier salad is the most famous and popular dish in our country. Probably not a single New Year or any other holiday is complete without it. This salad is very satisfying, tasty, and besides, it consists of inexpensive available ingredients. Although it was originally completely different.
Back in 1960, it was created by French chef Lucien Olivier, who works in a Moscow restaurant. The original recipe for the salad is still not known to anyone, since the culinary specialist kept it in the strictest confidence. Presumably, it included capers, caviar and other expensive products. Ordinary housewives changed it beyond recognition, replacing the components with cheaper ones, and since then the Olivier varieties have been the most popular salads in our country.
Required ingredients:
- 6 potatoes;
- 300g lean meat;
- 2 pickles;
- 3 carrots;
