  1. To begin with, the grains themselves are being prepared. It happens that there are not nuts, but the cones themselves. Then the grains need to be extracted from them. Then they must be thoroughly washed, poured with water and put on the stove so that the mixture boils.
  2. After the broth boils, the water is drained, the procedure must be repeated. And so at least three times. This is necessary in order to get rid of the resin that is in the shell. It is harmful to the body, moreover, worsens the taste of cedar vodka. So better get rid of it.
  3. The next step - nuts and additional ingredients are put into a container and filled with alcohol. The infusion process lasts approximately ten days. The room in which the nutcracker will stand should be warm, but at the same time, the container with the liquid should be protected from direct sunlight. During the infusion, vodka on pine nuts must be constantly shaken. This is the only way to achieve full disclosure of taste and uniform distribution of all ingredients.

The infusion process will last three to four weeks at room temperature. Before you try, you need to strain the drink. This can be done using an ordinary sieve, since the nuts are large enough and it is not necessary to use cotton wool or gauze. Next comes the bottling. The first tasting can be done after three weeks.

This is the same classic recipe, only one more step is added - pre-shelling. In this case, you need to take not one hundred, but two hundred grams of grains. A good hundred grams are for cleaning.

Rinse the nuts thoroughly, add water and bring to a boil, drain the water and repeat the procedure. The grains will have to be boiled until the water becomes clear.   • Peeled cedar seeds – 200gram.
  • One liter of alcohol.
  • A couple tablespoons of honey.

It is necessary to prepare the container in advance. Pour peeled, thoroughly washed nuts into it and pour them with alcohol. Next, the jar must be sent to a dark room for the infusion process, the duration of which is fourteen days. Stir the contents of the dishes every other day.

After this time, you can proceed to the second stage. First, separate the grains with a sieve or colander. You need to make syrup. To do this, honey is dissolved in hot water (50-60 ml). The mixture must be cooled and mixed with peeled nutcracker. Wait an additional week. Now the drink needs to be well filtered. This can be done through cotton wool or gauze folded several times. It remains only to pour into bottles for more convenient storage.

Nuts with orange

Not the whole fruit will be used here, but only its zest. Firstly, it will decorate both the aroma and taste with pleasant citrus notes, and secondly, the drink will become noticeably softer. The color of the tincture will be more pleasant due to bright sun glare. But here it is important not to overdo it, otherwise the orange will “clog” all other tones.

  • One hundred grams of unshelled pine nuts.
  • A couple of slices of orange peel.
  • Two tablespoons of granulated sugar.
  • One liter of alcohol.

The grains must be shelled and boiled several times until all the resin is gone.
