While in one of the London bars, Dorman drew attention to how a certain visitor ordered coffee. It seemed like an absolutely normal situation. The bartender, out of habit, asked what kind of coffee he should make: black or with cream. It was here that Dorman came up with a brilliant idea. He decided to create a new product in the world of alcoholic beverages. As you know, black is considereda sign of style. Therefore, the new product had to become a real fashion brand. That's exactly what happened. The best metropolitan establishments began to order the original drink. It made a splash and became one of the most popular alcoholic products.

Popular analogues

The success of the Englishman Mark Dorman inspired many producers of spirits. Some of them decided to follow his example, and very soon British black vodka was not the only one of its kind. Several rather interesting analogues of it have appeared in various countries.

Among them, the most noteworthy:

1. Eristoff. This is a product of the joint work of French and Georgian winemakers. Experts used wild berry extract as a dye to give the drink a black color.
2. Black Forti. This vodka was created by the Italians. For coloring, together with the extract of acacia kahetu, they took black alcohol, produced from durum wheat.
3. Fruko-Schulz. Czech specialists worked on this brand. They created a product from the purest vodka, adding natural humus to give it a black color.
