Every housewife tries to make as many preparations for the winter as possible in the summer season. To please and surprise her family, she experiments with different products and recipes.
For the preparation of blanks, wild pear is often used. By themselves, its fruits are inedible, but jam can please any gourmet with its taste. How to cook it? We'll tell you now.
First recipe
It turns out very fragrant wild pear jam. It will take approximately an hour to prepare. The number of components is calculated for one liter jar.
For cooking you will need:
- a kilo of wild pears;
- 1 kg of sugar;
- one small lemon;
- 200 milliliters of water.
Cooking technology
To make such a jam, only ripe fruits are needed. Since wild fruit varieties are known to spoil much more quickly, before starting the cooking process, they should be carefully reviewed again. If you come across a little wrinkled and darkened, then they will not work, because they will spoil the appearance of the dessert.
When the pears are selected, theyshould be rinsed well with water and dried on a paper towel.
To make it more convenient to treat yourself to this delicacy afterwards, you can not remove the ponytails - just shorten them a little.
The fruits themselves must be pierced in many places. This is done so that the syrup is better absorbed into the pear during cooking.
Having done all these manipulations, the fruits must be kept in boiling water for about seven minutes. Then move them for a few minutes in a bowl of cold water.
Syrup is made in a separate container. To do this, water with sugar is brought to a boil. Then you need to wait until the last crystals dissolve.
Prepared pears are put into hot syrup. Then they are left for 24 hours.
After this time, the infused fruits, together with the syrup, are sent to the stove, brought to a boil. Then simmer for another 5 minutes.
Then the future jam is removed from the stove. After that, it is sent again to infuse for 12 hours. This process must be done three times, and all due to the fact that the skin of the fruit is very hard.
When the dessert is boiled for the last time, you need to squeeze the juice from the lemon and add it to the container with it.
Ready-made wild pear jam should be closed hot, in pre-sterilized jars.
It cools upside down, wrapped in something warm, for about a day.
This preserve keeps well at room temperature.
In this recipe, to give the dessert a richer taste, during cooking, you can add differentingredients such as: cinnamon, wine, lemon peel, cloves.
Very sweet jam
Everyone knows that wild pear itself is not very juicy. Therefore, it is suitable only for jam. It tastes slightly sour, but pleasant.
To make wild pear jam for the winter sweeter, you will need:
- kilogram fruit;
- 1500 grams of granulated sugar;
- 500 milliliters of water.

Already ready syrup, but in boiling form, add chilled pears and cook for 15 minutes.
After leaving to infuse for 24 hours. This should be done three times.
Hot jam is poured into prepared jars, closed and sent to cool.

- wild pears– kilogram;
- apples - 1 kilo;
