Night club in Sochi "Platforma" is the largest entertainment facility offering a high service of European standards. This is a huge complex that combines many areas of recreation for guests and residents of the Olympic city of our country. And also it is a landmark of Sochi, thanks to its grandiose construction on the water. But the "Platform" is not quite a simple story, which we have to get acquainted with today.
Opening "PLOTform"
The club was first opened 10 years ago and made a huge splash in the club industry. This bright and fashionable place has become a magnet for every lover or professional of the musical rhythm of the nightlife. Party-goers tried to get into it, which was legendary. And the DJs considered it a privilege to play their set at the "Platform" in Sochi, where this two-story facility had a special privileged status.
It is worth noting that the original club was called "PLOTforma", a reference to its unusual location. He towered above the water, and under the feet of the guests throughthe glass floor could be seen sea waves.
On the first tier there was a night club with two bars, a dance floor and an area for VIP guests. The second tier was focused on guests coming in the daytime. There was a restaurant ("Platforms" in Sochi in the future) with European cuisine, hookah and live music, as well as on sun loungers you could enjoy cocktails and sunbathe.
Fire in a nightclub
In June 2012, there was a fire in the "Platform" in Sochi. The source of the fire fell on the recreation area "SPA", as a result of work on the installation of new equipment. At the time of the fire, there were 12 personnel on the territory of the entertainment complex, but there were no visitors. All employees managed to leave the institution on time and remain unharmed. Arriving firefighters fought the flames for more than an hour. It managed to cover most of the structure.
It should be noted the well-coordinated work of rescuers. After all, they had to face many problems before they managed to localize the flame. This also applied to the difficulties of accessing the surface structure (the fire truck was not able to drive up to the club as close as possible), and supplying water to extinguish it. Less than a month later, Platforma (Sochi) was restored, but the name was changed.
Cloud "Platform": Rebirth
After a serious incident with the entertainment complex, the management of the institution decided to revive the club with a new name -"Clouds". This name stuck for 5 years. But since the summer of 2017, the former name, but in a new version, has returned to the institution. Club "Platform" in Sochi again sparkled with its once legendary sound.
Today it is a large-scale complex, stylized as a cruise ship, with high-quality sound from the great masters of the sound movement and excellent cuisine. The updated format of the club creates space for a concert, club, social venue and an active recreation area.
The concept of "Platform" in Sochi is a constant movement that brings pleasure and enjoyment. The morning wakes up here from fragrant breakfasts with a sea panorama, giving a sunny and beachy mood.
