Kurgan is one of those regional centers of Russia that are not associated with tourism at all. This is not Vladimir, Pskov or Yekaterinburg. However, it is quite possible to spend a weekend in Kurgan and see local attractions. Where to go in Kurgan? It depends on the interests of the person, someone likes cafes, and someone likes museums and theaters.

Museums of Kurgan

Most of the museums in the city are located in the center, near the station. Of the distant museums, it is worth noting the following:

There are several parks with monuments and memorials in the city center. Youth Park at the crossroads of St. Kuibyshev and Savelyev contains the ice palace "Youth" on its territory.
