This circumstance provided the new cheese with a rapid growth in popularity, first in the United States and then in Europe.
In the USSR, this product began to be produced since 1934 at the Moscow Processed Cheese Factory built and equipped specifically for this purpose. In the early 1940s, the assortment of the enterprise was expanded. In particular, the manufacture of cheaper processed cheese from skimmed milk was mastered. Processed homemade cheese

- 70g butter;
- 350 g cottage cheese;
- 1 egg;
- 1/2 tsp each soda and dried dill;
- s alt to taste.
To make melted cheese, you need:
- Cutbutter in small pieces and place in a deep bowl.
- Heat it in the microwave or in a water bath.
- Pour a slightly beaten egg into melted butter, mix well, combine this mixture with cottage cheese, add soda, mix again.
- Chop the mass with a blender so that you get a mixture with small grains of cottage cheese.
- Boil water in a small saucepan, reduce heat, put the bowl with the curd-egg mass in a water bath.
- Melt, stirring, until the lumps of cottage cheese begin to melt. Continue cooking until the mass becomes viscous.
- Add s alt, dried herbs and additives; stir the mixture.
- Pour hot melted cheese into flat molds.

Soup with cream cheese: what you need
This is a hearty first course. It can be obtained using the following ingredients:
- 2 processed cheese any brand;
- 4 potatoes;
- 2 chicken legs;
- greens (any of your choice) to taste;
- pepper to taste;
- 50g rye or white bread croutons;
- 2.5L of water;
- s alt to taste;
- 1 medium carrot;
- 1 large onion;
- 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.
Step by step recipe
Cook cream cheese soup (photoabove) start by making the chicken broth. To do this, the legs are poured with water and brought to a boil. The liquid is then drained off. Pour hot water over the chicken legs and cook until tender.
When the meat is ready, it is removed from the bones, cut and transferred to a dish with a lid. Strain the broth.
The potatoes are peeled. Cut into large cubes, put in the broth and boil until tender.
Onions and carrots are peeled and chopped. The vegetables are sautéed in heated vegetable oil, after grating the carrots on a coarse grater and dicing the onion. When they soften, add vegetables to the broth. Boil the soup for about 2 minutes. Grind it with a blender to a liquid puree.
Cheese, pre-chilled in the refrigerator, cut into small cubes. Add them to the soup and cook until completely dissolved.
Bread is used to make croutons. Cut it into small cubes and fry in a dry frying pan until golden brown.
Before serving, pieces of boiled chicken meat, croutons and fresh herbs are placed in a bowl with soup.
Salad with egg and prunes
For cooking you will need:
- 3 garlic cloves;
- 3 processed cheese;
- green onions;
- 300g prunes;
- 100 ml mayonnaise;
- 50g walnut kernels;
- 4 eggs.
Prunes are poured with boiled water, left to stand for 10 minutes, and then cut into small pieces. Walnuts are scrolled through a meat grinder,green onions are chopped, peeled garlic is pressed with a knife, and boiled chicken eggs are cut into cubes. After mixing all the prepared ingredients, add light or homemade mayonnaise. After the salad is left to infuse for 15 minutes in the refrigerator. When serving, decorate with walnut kernels.
Salad with melted cheese and prunes is best obtained from this product of the Yantar or Wave brands, which must be cut into cubes.

Cooking the salad

Ready-made eggs are removed from heat and immediately cooled under cold water. Separate the boiled protein from the yolk and rub it on a grater. Add egg white to cheese.
Grate garlic, mix with mayonnaise and other ingredients and grind thoroughlywith a fork to avoid lumps.
