6. Brush base with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds before baking.
7. Next, cover the pan with a lid and place in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 15 minutes.
8. After this time, remove the lid and fry for a few more minutes until lightly browned.
9. After the cake is well fried,take it out of the pan and cover with a paper towel. Let her lie down for another 15 minutes.
This pita bread will turn out fluffy and soft. It can even be used instead of bread.
Uzbek homemade shawarma in tortillas
The cakes in this recipe should be thin.
• Brush each base with mayonnaise and ketchup. To reduce the fat content of the dish, you can leave only ketchup.

Form into balls and let rest for 10-15 minutes. Roll out very thin cakes. Fry in a pan without oil.
Cover finished products with a towel until completely cool.
How to make cakes on kefir
You will need:
- a glass of yogurt,
- one tablespoon of any vegetable oil,
- flour,
- a teaspoon each of baking soda and s alt.
To make kefir shawarma cakes, you need:
1. Add s alt, soda and oil to kefir. Stir everything.
2. Gradually add flour and knead the dough. It should be cool.
3. Cover the base with cling film and leave for half an hour.
4. Form into small balls and roll out thin cakes. You should get about 5-6 pieces. Bake them in a dry frying pan. You can add a little oil if you wish. It will be tastier, but more nutritious.
