Chicken tobacco in the oven

Easy, delicious and quick to bake chicken with potatoes. For this you will need:

  • chicken carcass;
  • spices;
  • s alt;
  • a few medium sized potatoes.

Rinse the meat, dry with a napkin. Cut the carcass along the line of the spine. You can make two halves or leave one in the "expanded" form. Rub the chicken with s alt and spices. Use an ovenproof dish for baking. Lightly grease it with oil, put the meat in the middle. Wash potatoes, peel. It is better if the tubers are small, so they will bake faster. Cut each potato in half and place next to the chicken. Cooking tobacco chicken in the oven will take approximately 40 minutes. Time may vary fromindicated if you have more meat and potatoes. In any case, before removing the dish from the oven, determine its readiness - pierce the chicken with a knife, the juice should not be red.

  • two chicken carcasses;
  • spices (sumac, thyme, sesame; Svan s alt, which can be replaced with a mixture of s alt, garlic, coriander, fenugreek);
  • butter - 50 grams;
  • water;
  • ghee.

Prepare the carcasses: rinse and cut along the ridge. Don't separate them completely. Roast the sesame seeds in a frying pan until a light aroma comes out of it. Grind the spices in a mortar, then add a melted piece of butter to them. Lubricate the chickens with the mixture and leave for 40 minutes. Pour some water into a pan without a handle or a mold, add a piece of melted butter and put the chickens. If you cook on fire, thenpress the pan on top with a weight. Tobacco chickens in the oven do not require this. It is recommended to turn the meat several times in the broth so that it can be properly stewed. When the water has evaporated, turn the carcass over again - so that a golden crust forms on both sides. Chickens are cooked for about 40 minutes. Everything will depend on what size carcasses you got. After the specified time, tobacco chickens in the oven will be ready.

What to serve with?

Chickens are often served with herbs and tomato sauce. Try replacing it with pomegranate, quince or dogwood - and the dish will sparkle with new flavors. From greens, lettuce leaves, parsley, dill can be served. Heat tomatoes for tobacco chickens in the oil left over from the meat. It will turn out an interesting and not boring version of the side dish.
