Simple Jam Cake
To make this dessert you will need the following ingredients:
- two chicken eggs;
- three cups of sifted premium flour;
- one 200-gram pack of margarine;
- oneglass of sugar;
- half teaspoon vanilla;
- one small spoonful of baking powder;
- 200 grams of fruit jam.
Cooking method:
- First you need to melt the margarine in a water bath or in a microwave oven, after which it must be cooled.
- In a bowl, thoroughly mix sugar, chilled melted butter, vanilla and eggs.
- Wheat flour and baking powder should be gradually introduced into the resulting mass, after which knead a stiff dough.
- Divide the pie dough into two unequal parts. Put the smaller one in the freezer for a while.
- The second part of the dough should be evenly spread in the prepared form, put the jam on top, smooth with a spoon.
- Slightly frozen dough, previously placed in the freezer, should be grated on a coarse grater over fruit jam in a chaotic manner.
- Preheat oven to 190 degrees, bake for about 20 minutes.
Sweet shortcake with apricot jam
This shortbread jam pie is as easy to make as the previous recipe. It is distinguished by the nuts included in the kernel, as well as the presence of spices.
Ingredients:
- 200 grams of apricot jam;
- one pack of natural butter;
- two cups of wheat flour;
- one glass of sugar;
- three chicken eggs;
- about 100 grams of crushed nut kernels (it can be almonds or peanuts);
- a pinch of s alt;
- half teaspoons of slaked soda;
- dry spices - cardamom and saffron - to taste;
- 30 ml apricot liqueur (can be replaced with rum or cognac).
How to make jam pie:
- Pour sugar into a bowl, add soft butter to it and knead everything well with a fork.
- Drive eggs into the mass, add liquor, s alt, soda and spices. Mix everything.
- Pour flour into the mixture and knead the dough. This needs to be done quickly, as shortbread dough does not knead for a long time.
- Separate about a quarter from the dough, set aside.
- Place remaining dough on a greased baking sheet.
- Spread the apricot jam mixed with chopped nuts evenly over the dough.
- Roll out the piece of dough that was set aside earlier into a 1 cm thick layer and finely chop with a knife, spread the resulting pieces over the jam.
- Bake in the oven at 200 oC for about half an hour.
Yeast cake with jam
Ingredients:
- three cups of flour;
- three eggs;
- 150 grams of butter;
- 200 grams of fruit jam;
- one 25g package of dry yeast;
- three spoons of sugar;
- a pinch of s alt;
- half a small spoonful of vanilla;
- vegetable oil.
Cooking method:
- To make a cake with jam from yeast dough, first you need to pour dry yeast with half a glass of boiled cooled water, adding half a tablespoonspoons of sugar.
- Melt the butter, pour one glass of warm water into it, beat in chicken eggs, add s alt, vanillin and the remaining sugar.
- The resulting mixture, yeast and flour, combine and knead the dough.
- The finished dough must be smeared with vegetable oil, sprinkled with wheat flour and put in a bowl and, covered with a towel or napkin, put in a warm place until it doubles in size.
- Divide the risen yeast dough into two parts of different sizes. Roll out most of it into a layer in the shape of a baking sheet, put it in a mold covered with oiled parchment paper, mold the sides.
- Put fruit jam on top of the dough, smooth it out.
- Roll out the remaining dough into thin strips to lay on the jam in the form of a lattice.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Serving pies
Sweet pies are delicious cold and should be cut into portions before serving and placed on individual dessert plates.
