Original Pancho Sour Cream Cake
For a light cake we need:
- egg;
- a glass of sour cream 20% fat;
- glass of flour;
- sugar taste;
- baking powder (5 grams);
- vanillin.
For a dark cake, the ingredients are the same plus 20 grams of cocoa powder.
For cream:
- kilogram of sour cream;
- sugar.
Fruit layer:
- two bananas;
- glass of walnuts;
- frozen cherries (200 grams).
Pancho cake takes about two hours to cook. From the above products, a rather large and hearty cake of about 1.5 kg is obtained. If necessary, you can bake more cakes and increase the amount of sour cream.
Cooking
Pre-heat the oven to 180 C. Prepare a round or square shape and grease it with a piece of butter. First you need to bake a light fluffy biscuit.
In a deep bowl, beat the egg, beat it thoroughly with a mixer, then add sugar and continue to beat. Put the baking powder, sour cream and sifted flour into the mass - mix well.
The result should be a thick dough, reminiscent of sour cream. Prepare the dark cake in the same way, just add cocoa powder.
We take two greased forms, pour dark and light dough into them - bake for about an hour. After the cakes are ready, let them cool.
Dark cake cut into two equal parts. Light biscuit and the second part of the dark biscuit should be cut into small squares.
Cream: grind sour cream with sugar or powdered sugar until a thick homogeneous mass.
Slice the bananas, chop the walnuts and defrost the cherries.
We form the Pancho cake: put a dark biscuit on a festive dish, immediately soak it with sour cream, you can also grease it with some syrup or sweet water for softness and juiciness.
Put biscuit cubes, bananas, cherries, chopped nuts on top of the cream - grease everythingcream. So we alternate layer by layer until we get a cone.
The resulting "tower" is abundantly smeared with sour cream. If the cream drips, you can scoop it up with a spoon and put it back on the cake.
Put the Pancho cake in the refrigerator for two hours. After the cream has hardened, pour the cake with chocolate icing. Cooking it is simple and quick: melt chocolate (200 grams) together with butter (50 grams) in the microwave or in a water bath and pour over the delicacy in thin streams. Leave in the cold for a couple of hours.
It turns out a delicious sweet dessert that will become not only a table decoration, but also a favorite dish. You can diversify pastries with toppings, for example, add kiwi, which will add sourness to the cake, or blueberries. Very tasty with canned pineapple, coconut and raspberries.
