What you need to make a chocolate pie

No exotic tools are required to create a chocolate treat. You can cook such a cake with the help of those items that are in any kitchen. You will need:

  • 2 mixing bowls;
  • baking dish;
  • tea and tablespoon;
  • measuring cup;
  • as well as a mixer or whisk.

The advantage of such baking is that a recipe with a photo is not required to make a chocolate cake - as well as any special culinary skills. Even inexperiencedthe hostess, who has never worked with dough before, can easily prepare this delicious treat.

Chocolate or cocoa: pros and cons

The cake is great with both real chocolate and cocoa. Both methods have both supporters and opponents. If the chocolate cake is being prepared for a homemade feast, it is cheaper and easier to use regular powder. It is enough to mix it with flour or pour it into a liquid base. Unlike chocolate, which must first be melted in a steam or water bath, which takes an average of 5 to 15 minutes.

However, in any recipe, cocoa is easily replaced by a bar of dark chocolate. The taste of the cake in this case will be more intense, since flavorings and cocoa butter are added to chocolate during manufacture.

Chocolate pie with sour cream

This pastry is very tender and soft, and takes very little time. You will need:

  • 250 ml (preferably not too acidic) sour cream;
  • 1 egg;
  • 200-220g granulated sugar;
  • 4 teaspoons of cocoa;
  • half a teaspoon of baking soda;
  • 160g (or 1 standard cup) flour;
  • and 1 teaspoon s alt.

For this test, it is best to use a mixer. It will turn out thick, it will be difficult to stir it with a whisk. First, beat the egg with sugar and sour cream. S alt the mixture. Sift the flour: this will fill it with air, and the cake will be more fluffy. Add cocoa powder to flour.

Now switch the mixer to lowspeed and, stirring the sour cream, pour the flour in a thin stream, making sure that no lumps form. When the consistency becomes homogeneous, the dough is ready.

To make the cake tall, take a deep baking dish with a bottom diameter of 20-22 cm. Cover the bottom with pastry parchment, and carefully grease the sides with margarine. Then put the dough into the form and carefully level it with a spoon.

Chocolate cake doesn't like too much heat or temperature fluctuations. Preheat the oven to no more than 190 ⁰С and only after that send the dough into it. 40 minutes will be enough.

In order not to serve an unbaked dessert, carefully take a skewer or a long toothpick and very carefully pierce the dough with it. After pulling it out, run your finger over it: if the surface is dry, then the cake is ready. After removing it from the oven, coat the top with a brush dipped in water and cover with a towel for 4-7 minutes. After that, the chocolate cake can be taken out of the mold, transferred to a beautiful dish and served.

How to make an unusual pie with cottage cheese and chocolate

An excellent option for a children's holiday is a chocolate curd pie. The recipe for this delicacy is unique in that by adding just one ingredient, you can create an incredibly delicious dessert that tastes like expensive cream cakes.

The outer and central parts of the pie are cooked separately. The test will require the following products:

  • 180 g (standard pack) butter;
  • 200 g flour;
  • 4-5 teaspoons of cocoa;
  • and a glass of sugar.

To prepare the filling you need to take:

  • half a kilo of soft cottage cheese or curd mass;
  • 3 medium chicken eggs,
  • a glass of granulated sugar;
  • a little vanilla powder for scent;
  • 100 g sour cream;
  • and 2 tablespoons (20 g) starch.

Each "layer" is prepared separately, after which one is laid out one on top of the other in turn. The peculiarity of such a delicacy is that few people can recognize a chocolate pie in this magnificent fragrant dessert. Photos of this pastry are often mistaken for the image of the "Bird's Milk" cake due to the characteristic combination of black and white-cream layers. The taste is completely unique and very delicate: the “cake” literally melts in your mouth.

How to make chocolate cake with cottage cheese

Remove a pack of butter in advance to warm it up. You can't melt it. First prepare the dough: beat the butter with sugar, then mix the flour with cocoa powder and put this mixture into the butter. Then knead the dough with your hands, grinding and mixing the ingredients.

When the dough is ready, you can proceed to the filling. Beat the eggs, gradually adding sugar and vanilla to them. Put cottage cheese and sour cream, pre-mixed with starch. And mix the resulting mass thoroughly.

Now comes the crucial moment. Take a round deep baking dish and cover it with paper intended for this. Put a little more on the bottomhalf the dough, flatten it with your hand and make a kind of side along the walls to hold the cottage cheese. The inner part should not come into contact with the sides. Pour in the semi-liquid filling and top with the remaining batter.

The oven must be preheated to 200 degrees. Put the dough inside and bake for about 40 minutes. If the cake is not baked yet, you can leave it for a few more minutes in the oven.

When taking the chocolate cake out of the mold, be careful: it turns out to be very soft and tender and can break from careless handling. On top of pastries, you can pour chocolate melted in a steam bath (in this case, you will need to put the cake in the refrigerator for an hour or two to let the glaze harden).
